Actor Tiger Shroff is expected to return to work in early November, a little over two weeks after the firing incident at his residence on October 18, The Times of India reported, citing Mid-Day. He will shoot the remaining portions of director Raj Mehta's action film Lag Jaa Gale.

In the October 18 incident, two men reportedly fired five to seven rounds, injuring the actor's driver and a passer-by, according to the report.

A 10-day schedule, location under wraps

A source told Mid-Day that some patchwork on the film still needed Shroff on set. "Some patch work of the movie is left, for which Tiger is needed. Raj and his team have been prepping for the 10-day schedule that will take place sometime in early November," the source said.

Another insider quoted by the publication said the makers were not sharing the location with anyone outside the core team. "Tiger's safety is paramount for the makers. He wanted to return to work because he didn't want the film to suffer in any way because of the incident," the insider said.

The makers have not publicly commented on the filming arrangements.

What next

The report gives no update on the police investigation into the firing. Lag Jaa Gale's November schedule is meant only to complete the film's pending portions, after which Shroff has several other projects in the pipeline, including Ram Madhvani's Vajra and Shashank Khaitan's Screw Dheela, according to IMDb listings cited by the newspaper.
