Corrections Policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
Tark Samvad aims to be accurate, and to be open about it when we are not. This page explains how to tell us about a mistake and what we do once we know.
Report an error
Email abhinavtiwari2303@gmail.com with:
- the link to the article,
- what you believe is wrong, and
- if you can, a source that shows the correct information.
We acknowledge every report within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days.
What we correct, and how
- Errors of fact (a wrong figure, name, date, place or quote) are fixed in the article, and a dated note at the end of the article says what was changed.
- Serious errors, where the mistake changed what the story meant, also get a note at the top of the article, so readers who saw the earlier version know.
- Spelling, grammar and formatting are fixed without a note when they don't change the meaning.
- Updates, when a story develops after we publish it, are marked as updates with the date, and are not presented as corrections.
Removing an article
We correct articles rather than delete them. We remove or edit one only for a legal reason, a court order, or to protect someone's safety or privacy, such as a person who should not have been identified. When we do, we say so where the article was, unless saying so would itself cause the harm.
Complaints and grievances
If you are not satisfied with our response, write to our Grievance Officer at abhinavtiwari2303@gmail.com. How we choose, source and write stories is described in our Editorial Policy.
