Pratik Gandhi still hears about Scam 1992 every time the stock market has a rough day. Speaking to The Free Press Journal, the actor said memes from the series find their way to him whenever markets swing, The Times of India reported.

"Oh yeah, memes comes to me. It comes to me every time whenever the market swings," he said, laughing.

How he picks roles

Gandhi said language does not decide his choices. "If I read the script, if I get connected to the world and the character, I do it no matter in which language," he said.

Theatre and acting

Looking back at his years in theatre, Gandhi said live performances let actors draw on the energy of the audience, while films demand constant self-assessment. He described acting as a "very spiritual process", spoke of the instinctive moments that arise on stage, and said the ability to switch on and off is key to staying balanced.
