LeBron James sealed Philadelphia's second win of the young season over the New York Knicks on Friday, tipping in a Tyrese Maxey miss with 11.9 seconds left to put the 76ers 96-91 up on the way to a 98-93 victory, Sportstar reported.
James, 41, finished with 20 points, nine rebounds, eight assists, one steal and a chase-down block. Coach Nick Nurse said it was his best game since he joined as a free agent in June. "He's been good, but that was his best game, for sure," Nurse said.
The 76ers had already spoiled the defending champions' banner night at Madison Square Garden by winning there on opening night.
