BJP demands apology after Kharge's retort about Modi's father

BJP demands apology after Kharge's retort about Modi's father

A man who shouted "Modi won't go anywhere" at Kharge's Bihar event says he is a Congress worker and was misunderstood; Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh condemned the remark.

When a man in the audience shouted "Modi won't go anywhere", Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge retorted that even Modi's father would go.

Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and Anurag Thakur called the remark indecent, and the BJP demanded an apology.

The man later said he was a Congress worker who meant that Modi would stay as long as there was no rebellion in the country.
