DMK asks vigilance to probe minister's ₹5 crore bribe claim

Tamil Nadu minister A. Rajmohan said on Sunday that an unnamed person offered him ₹5 crore through an intermediary to be made president of the Iyal Isai Nataka Mandram.
He said he refused, and the post went to folk singer Pushpavanam Kuppusamy on merit.
The DMK on Monday asked the state vigilance directorate (DVAC) to register an FIR, saying the offer was never reported to any agency.
