Counting in Andhra Pradesh's urban local body polls showed the TDP-led NDA winning 1,724 of the first 1,937 wards declared, out of 3,942.
The YSRCP had won 185 wards by then; Jagan Mohan Reddy's aunt led in Pulivendula after the High Court let counting go ahead.
Cyclone Murasu, heavy rain and lost strong-room keys delayed counting in several towns; final results are expected in the evening.
