Delhi Metro could grow to 695 km under 2047 plan: what changes for commuters

The DDA's proposals add 279 km of Metro, expand Namo Bharat to 383 km, and promise easier transfers, 200 km of cycle tracks and AI-run parking.

Delhi's Metro network could expand from 416 km to 695 km under proposals in the Master Plan for Delhi 2047.

Sarai Kale Khan, Anand Vihar and Kashmere Gate would become major hubs for switching between Metro, rail and buses.

The plan also proposes 200 km of cycle tracks, safer footpaths and fixes for traffic hotspots like Dwarka Mor and Mukarba Chowk.
