The Indian Air Force's "Wings over Ganges" show ends at Varanasi's Namo Ghat on Sunday, with the Prime Minister as chief guest.
Su-30MKI, Rafale and Tejas fighters, the Prachand helicopter, and the Surya Kiran and Sarang display teams will take part.
About 11,900 security personnel are deployed, and the chief minister has asked for minimal barricading so the public can reach the ghats.
