Rural job scheme complaints must be settled in 15 days
New rules under the law that replaced MGNREGA set a seven-day enquiry deadline and bar officials from refusing a complaint over its format or language.

The Ministry of Rural Development has notified grievance rules under the VB-G RAM G Act, according to a Press Information Bureau release.
An enquiry must finish within seven working days and a grievance must be resolved within 15 days of receipt.
A complaint cannot be refused over its format, language or manner of submission.
