Two men accused of firing at Tiger Shroff's car stayed in an Andheri East hotel room from October 14 to 18, NDTV reported.
They allegedly scouted locations by auto-rickshaw each day, and police are examining a pistol misfire inside the room.
Three accused, arrested in Kota while allegedly heading for Nepal, are in police custody till October 31.
