Tiger Shroff firing incident prompts FWICE security advisory

The film workers' federation wants background checks, crew records and tighter access control on sets, saying safety must cover technicians as well as stars.

FWICE has asked producers to verify the identity and background of everyone they hire, after the firing incident involving Tiger Shroff.

It says membership of its associations helps but cannot replace independent checks, and threats must be reported to police.

The advisory follows earlier incidents at Rohit Shetty's home in February and Salman Khan's in April 2024.
