India lead the five-match T20I series 2-0, so one more win in Wellington on Tuesday seals it.
Matt Henry is out of the series and Lockie Ferguson misses this game; Ishan Kishan is still not fit, so Vaibhav Sooryavanshi should bat at No. 3 again.
New Zealand's spinners Santner and Bracewell have taken eight wickets in 16 overs, a test for India's middle order.
