New Zealand's Glenn Phillips scored his third T20I century in the fourth match against India at Eden Park in Auckland on Friday, Sportstar reported.
Phillips reached three figures off 46 balls and was out for 107 off 49, hitting six fours and ten sixes. His innings carried New Zealand to 259 for 7, putting them in a strong position to win their first game of the series.
A rare feat against India
Phillips is only the second New Zealand player to score a T20I hundred against India, after Colin Munro, who did it in Rajkot in 2017.
In form all series
The 29-year-old has been New Zealand's standout batter in the series. He made an unbeaten 82 off 40 balls in the first match and 70 off 43 in the second, but India won both games.
These details are as of the end of New Zealand's innings on Friday; India's chase was yet to finish when this was written.
