Secret Service officers found three firearms in a stolen car near the Ellipse; the Venezuelan man has been charged, DHS says

The US Secret Service arrested a man in a parked car near the White House on Thursday night after he allegedly said voices told him to kill President Donald Trump.

Officers found three firearms and dozens of rounds of ammunition in the car, which had been reported stolen, the Homeland Security department said.

The man, a Venezuelan national whom DHS says is in the US illegally, has been charged on several weapons and theft counts.
