The satellite, carrying an indigenous atomic clock, will give India four working navigation satellites for train tracking, vehicle monitoring and shipping.
ISRO will launch the NVS-03 navigation satellite on a GSLV-F18 rocket at 11.51 pm on October 30, chairman V. Narayanan said.
It will be the 20th flight of the GSLV and ISRO's fifth mission this year, counting a private launch.
Once in orbit, India will have four operational navigation satellites, including one with an indigenous atomic clock.
