Six senior leaders met the Union home minister in Delhi without her; the party denies any rift and says a merger with the Sharad Pawar faction is off the table

NCP chief and Maharashtra deputy chief minister Sunetra Pawar called a meeting of all party MLAs and MLCs at her Mumbai residence on Tuesday.
It follows Monday's Delhi meeting between six senior NCP leaders and Amit Shah, which neither she nor her son Parth attended.
Party leaders deny a rift; state president Sunil Tatkare said talk of a merger with the Sharad Pawar faction had ended.
