AAP keeps Mann in Dhuri, names 40 for Punjab 2027
The ruling party has leaned on incumbents in its first list, including a jailed minister, with 77 of the 117 seats still to be announced.

AAP on Saturday released its first list of 40 candidates for the Punjab Assembly election due early next year, The Hindu reported.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will contest Dhuri again, while jailed minister Sanjeev Arora has been named from Ludhiana West.
Reports differ on how many are sitting MLAs: 37 according to Business Today, all 40 according to The Hindu and Daijiworld.
