Modi said the world, which once relied on India's brainpower, now trusts its "mindpower" too.
He said trade, technology and sea routes are being "weaponised", and called for a global system that stops the strong exploiting the weak.
He cited India's Covid vaccine and medicine supplies, and its push to make its own drug raw materials, as examples of building strength at home to help the world.
