Actor Tusshar Kapoor allegedly received a call demanding ₹5 crore from someone claiming to be Harry Boxer of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
He told Mumbai Police, who passed the complaint to the Anti-Extortion Cell and the Crime Branch.
The voice did not match Harry Boxer's samples in police records, so investigators suspect the gang's name was used to frighten him.
