The university has undertaken to hold a special exam if the 16 SFI activists win; their relay fast enters its fourth day
The Supreme Court on Thursday declined to interfere with a Kerala High Court order barring 16 suspended SFI students of the Sanskrit university at Kalady from their exams.
It sent the dispute back to the High Court's single bench for quick disposal and recorded the university's promise of a special exam if the students win.
The suspended students, whose relay fast entered its fourth day, say they will continue until the action is revoked.
