Rajasthan updates teacher's records after gender transition
The State's education department has told officials to record a Kota physical training instructor as male under his new name.

Rajasthan has recognised a Kota government school instructor's female-to-male transition and ordered his records to be updated, The Hindu reported.
The instructor has asked not to be named, citing privacy.
The government cited the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act and the Rajasthan Service Rules.
