Indians abroad don't take to the streets, Goyal tells Berlin diaspora

The commerce minister contrasted the Indian community with protesters in parts of Europe, as France and Italy see large demonstrations over living costs.

Piyush Goyal told the Indian community in Berlin that Germans know Indians "don't indulge in vandalism" or "go on the streets".

He contrasted this with protests in "other parts of Europe", while adding that some exceptions were "beyond our control".

France has seen about 410,000 people rally against the government, according to its interior ministry.
