A viral clip showed an assistant administrative officer in Hazaribag taking money to fix errors in a voter's affidavit; the officer denies it was a bribe
An assistant administrative officer in Hazaribag, Jharkhand, has been suspended after a viral video showed the officer allegedly taking ₹100 during voter-roll revision work.
The deputy commissioner's order said the allegation was prima facie established.
The officer told a local outlet the money was for getting an affidavit attested, not a bribe.
