Cyclone Murasu: red alert moves to Khammam, Suryapet, Bhadradri
The storm crossed the Andhra Pradesh coast near Ongole early on Tuesday; Nalgonda and Nagarkurnool are no longer on red alert

IMD Hyderabad on Tuesday put Suryapet, Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts on red alert for heavy to extremely heavy rain.
The red alert for Nalgonda and Nagarkurnool was lifted; Mahabubabad is on orange alert.
Murasu crossed the Andhra coast near Ongole between 3.30 am and 5.30 am and is expected to weaken into a deep depression by midnight.
