A Delhi court disposed of Congress MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam's anticipatory bail plea after police said they would give him seven days' notice before any arrest.
The FIR, registered on October 11, follows complaints by JNU students; he has not been charged, and his counsel says he has cooperated with the probe.
JNU dismissed him on October 9 after an internal inquiry, but the Delhi High Court stayed that order on November 2.
