Brisbane Heat's most successful bowler will rest and aim to return in the new year, a day before the WPL auction where she is expected to be in demand.
Australia spinner Jess Jonassen will miss the whole WBBL 2026-27 season for Brisbane Heat because of a hip problem.
She plans to be back in training in December and play Queensland's next domestic one-day game on January 4.
Heat are negotiating to sign an overseas replacement before their opening game against Sydney Sixers on October 30.
